We are still operating essential service, the only service that is limited at present is social activities and accessing the community, due to closures. We are still walking with service users in a socially distanced way or using appropriate PPE (masks etc).
We are also recruiting.
Call us today for an interview this week. All training provided.
We are now recruiting as we continue to grow at a steady rate. Do you think you can become a support worker, do you have what it takes to provide outcome based support to adults with specialised needs?
- Jennifer HI started working with SSTI just as the 1st lockdown happened in 2019 and, although it was a tricky time to start a new career, I was given training and support from the office and care staff before going out into the community solo. My job gives me satisfaction like no office based job ever has and I am glad to have chosen SSTI to start my care career. The staff are friendly and helpful and we are given regular policy updates and reminders to ensure all staff are following the correct procedures and adhering to regulations and maintaining standards expected of us. Thanks for taking me on SSTI!!
- Bonnie MHaving worked for stepping stones to independence i didn't have the best experience professionally. However they have amazing support workers who cared for my grandmother very well, they were polite, professional, caring and more importantly person centred which put my families mind at rest. The girls went above and beyond what we could of expected and we have already recommended this organisation to many. Keep up the good work stepping stones to independence.
- Mum AI love being an employee of Stepping Stones. They really have come to my rescue due to my existing work being slow because of COVID, so they were flexible in being able to provide me with p/t work that suited me and my family. The training I received and was required to undertake was very in-depth and they had pivoted as a business amazingly well with everything I needed to watch/learn being all online. Due to current climate, there has been a real TEAM push to help and support eachother and the introduction of the Team WhatsApp groups allowed us to help cover any shifts, if and when required, whilst juggling temporary staff shortages due to illness. I've witnessed everyone pulling together as 'one team.' The regular emails and messages I receive that keep up us to date with current policies, procedures and regulations including COVID restrictions have been second to none and every step of the way, I have felt that not only are they very supportive and protective of our clients...
